Authors Caribou

With the support of

The International Partnership Programme (IPP), run by the UK Space Agency, focuses on using the UK space sector’s research and innovation strengths to deliver sustainable economic and societal benefits to emerging and developing economies around the world. It is part of and funded from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s Global Challenges Research Fund, a fund announced by the UK government to support cutting-edge research and innovation on global issues affecting developing countries.

At the time of publication, IPP had completed three years of implementation. During this time, it funded 33 projects in 44 countries and built new partnerships between over 120 space-sector organizations and 147 organizations in developing countries. This report provides a snapshot of the results achieved between 2016 and now, in terms of both the outputs of individual projects and the emerging outcomes and impacts that projects are having with respect to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
