This webinar presents and discusses the nature of World Bank Earth Observation-related procurement opportunities and modalities to access them. This webinar offers EO service providers the opportunity to better understand the existing regulation that governs World Bank procurements, the eligibility criteria, the steps to follow, and the constraints or processes specific to EO-related procurements. In addition, the speakers provide general guidelines and advice on the best ways to approach those opportunities as well as the recent patterns and the evolution in the type of EO-related products and services that are being procured.
This webinar was held on December 15, 2022. It featured Alex Chunet (European Space Agency representative to World Bank), Bwalya Mumba (Procurement Specialist, World Bank) and Benjamin Stewart (Senior Geographer, World Bank), and was hosted by Ravi Kupar (Imperative Space).
