Humanity Insured Learning Report 2025: Building Resilience Through Protection

Humanity Insured enables communities to protect what matters most in the face of climate disruption. Through its portfolio, the organization develops innovative approaches to make climate insurance accessible and relevant to those most at risk, including smallholder farmers, informal workers, coastal populations, and displaced individuals. In the past year of programatic activity, they have funded 14 projects across 14 countries, and across their grant portfolio have used £1.67 million to allow £33.5 million of insurance protection to be extended to 1.69 million people.

Caribou partnered with Humanity Insured to craft a values-led, insight-rich Annual Impact Report that captured early signals of change and shares how the organization is positioning itself as a catalytic force in the climate insurance ecosystem. Drawing on grantee interviews, portfolio data, and internal reflection, the report combines evidence and narrative to guide both strategy and impact communication.
