Measurement & Strategic Advisory for The East Africa Impact Project

WITH THE SUPPORT OF

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Caribou is a core partner in the multi-year East Africa Impact Partner Organization (IPO), working across Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya to strengthen the Mastercard Foundation’s learning and impact. The IPO supports the Foundation’s ambition to achieve long-term, system-wide change across education, agriculture and climate, small business finance, and the digital economy.

In this role, Caribou advises on methods and approaches for impact evaluations and strategic reviews, ensuring they are youth-centred, participatory, and rooted in Made in Africa perspectives. We provide technical support on strategic reviews, evidence synthesis, and measurement frameworks, while also producing impact storytelling and synthesis products that inform regional and executive-level decision-making.

By embedding learning systems and building capacity across the ecosystem, Caribou enables the Foundation and its partners to reflect, adapt, and stay aligned with impact goals that improve opportunities for young people in East Africa.
