Humanity Insured enables communities to protect what matters most in the face of climate disruption. Through its portfolio, the organization develops innovative approaches to make climate insurance accessible and relevant to those most at risk, including smallholder farmers, informal workers, coastal populations, and displaced individuals.
Caribou partnered with Humanity Insured to craft a values-led, insight-rich Annual Impact Report that captures early signals of change and shares how the organization is positioning itself as a catalytic force in the climate insurance ecosystem. Drawing on grantee interviews, portfolio data, and internal reflection, the report combines evidence and narrative to guide both strategy and impact communication.
In parallel, Caribou supported Humanity Insured to shape a forward-looking Measurement and Learning Strategy. Through facilitated futures thinking workshops, we collaborated with the team to reflect on its grantmaking approach, identify key outcomes and signals of change, and adopt methodologies and digital tools that strengthen portfolio-wide learning and resilience.
