Yasmine is a people and operations professional who strengthens organizational foundations by building clear systems, dependable processes, and effective ways of working. Her expertise sits at the intersection of people operations, coordination, and organizational support, with a focus on enabling teams to operate smoothly through clarity, consistency, accountability, and strong internal coordination.
Yasmine serves as a People & Operations Coordinator at Caribou, where she supports the day-to-day functioning of the organization’s people and operations work. She manages core processes across HR administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding and offboarding, internal communications, supplier coordination, team logistics, and the maintenance of people-related systems and documentation. In this role, she works closely with leadership to ensure teams remain connected, supported, and able to operate effectively as the organization evolves.
Previously, Yasmine supported teams through periods of growth and change by strengthening people processes, improving internal communication, and enabling effective daily operations. Her work emphasized practical coordination, clear ways of working, and people systems that scaled alongside organizational needs. She holds an honours degree in social science in anthropology from the University of Cape Town and is based in South Africa.
