Bio

Petrina is a digital inclusion and digital economy specialist with over 20 years’ experience advising private and non-profit organizations in Indonesia, including Visa Indonesia, Gates Foundation, and the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance.

She works closely with Caribou on Live Learning projects in Indonesia, leveraging her extensive network of digital economy players across urban and rural areas, and serves as APAC specialist for all our programs, including Mastercard Strive—brokering key partnerships such as Grab.

Petrina previously supported Indonesia’s National Financial Inclusion Council Secretariat in establishing a Project Management Office funded by the Gates Foundation, was Director of Strategic Partnerships at Women’s World Banking, and co-founded a publishing firm with 13 magazine titles in Indonesia and Singapore. Originally from Singapore, she is a long-time resident of Indonesia.
