Bio
Paul is a leader in financial inclusion and embedded financial services, with deep experience bringing new financial products to market and building businesses from the ground up. He oversees Caribou’s work to drive strong customer outcomes across partner credit guarantee programs, aligning strategy and execution to deliver measurable results.
Paul’s career includes launching one of Asia’s first agent banking networks as the founding Head of Operations at Wing in Cambodia. In Indonesia, he helped bring one of the earliest embedded payment services to BlackBerry Messenger. He later founded and exited a data science business that developed credit algorithms for small business accounting platforms. In Myanmar, he led the development and rollout of a digital credit product for Wave. Paul holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in banking and finance from Queensland University of Technology in Australia. He is based in Sydney.
