Bio

Lisa brings deep expertise in social impact research and strategic learning, with a focus on advancing evidence-based approaches. At Caribou, Lisa advises on insights and learning, focused on sustainability, small business development, and ecosystem building.

Lisa previously led research initiatives with Impact Mapper and served as a monitoring and evaluation consultant for organizations including the International Labour Organization, WIEGO, and UN Women. She has contributed to publications such as The Key to Change and the Spotlight Initiative Compendium, and has supported programs across Africa, Latin America, and Europe. Earlier in her career, Lisa directed a multi-country research network on social enterprise at Zeppelin University and managed a comparative urban studies program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

She holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University, a master’s degree in Geography from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University. Lisa is based in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
