Bio
Laura works at the intersection of insights, communications, and brand strategy. She is passionate about social impact and new, more innovative and efficient ways to approach international development. At Caribou, she leads central communications, manages the organization’s thought leadership agenda alongside the Chief Knowledge Officer, and recently directed a company-wide brand refresh.
Laura previously led insights, marketing, and brand strategy for climate-focused impact investor Mercy Corps Ventures. She also headed a regional marketing team at the GSMA, guiding communications for ten advocacy programs supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals through mobile technology. Earlier in her career, she held roles at CARE International, Y-Care International, and other youth-focused NGOs. Laura holds a Marketing Week Mini MBA and a BA from the University of Warwick. She is based in the UK.
