Bio
Grace leads research on the impact of digital technology on youth livelihoods in Africa. Drawing on her background in journalism, she uses storytelling as a powerful tool to surface rich, human-centered insights that inform actionable programs for clients. Grace is also part of Caribou’s insights team that has built a critical knowledge base on how small businesses around the world adopt and use digital technologies.
Prior to Caribou, Grace worked as a journalist and media development professional, building training and advocacy programs that support journalists in Uganda and Africa. She holds a BA in mass communication from Makerere University in Kampala. Grace is based in Uganda.
I enjoy working at Caribou, as my role allows me to contribute to the quest to build inclusive digital economies in which young people in Africa can thrive and realize their full potential. I'm excited to be doing this through innovative research, strategic insights, and collaborative initiatives with our clients and with young people themselves.
