Bio

Elise has expertise in developing right-fit measurement and evaluation frameworks for a variety of clients and programs. She leads teams and programs to use evidence-based approaches to craft resilient measurement systems, embrace complexity, and conduct meaningful measurement and evaluation programs that provide insights and enhance impact. With over 15 years of experience working for clients in the private sector, foundations, government agencies, and nonprofits, Elise specializes in developing right-fit measurement frameworks for complex, global programs.

Prior to Caribou, Elise worked as a measurement and evaluation consultant and held roles at Oxfam GB and Greenpeace International. She has an MA in international development studies from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BA in global development studies from Queen’s University in Canada. Elise is based in Portugal.

Measuring impact is about more than just data on "what changed." It's about storytelling—helping organizations see their impact, adapt in real time, and ultimately connect the dots between their work and lasting change. It’s dynamic, thoughtful, and brings tangible insights that drive positive, lasting change.
