Bio


Ben partners with the CEO and senior leadership to strengthen how the organization operates and grows. He leads cross-cutting initiatives that connect strategy to execution, improving internal systems, coordinating change efforts, and supporting delivery across people, finance, technology, and governance. His role sits at the center of Caribou’s operations, ensuring teams are aligned, well supported, and able to focus on high-value work.

Before joining Caribou, Ben held senior leadership roles across consulting, public policy, and international development. He led multidisciplinary teams delivering large-scale infrastructure, economic development, and public health initiatives across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. His work has supported governments, development finance institutions, and global nonprofits with evidence-based decision-making, financial and economic analysis, and complex stakeholder coordination.

Ben holds a master’s degree in development economics from the University of Cape Town, a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from the University of Colorado, and has completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme at Saïd Business School. He is based in South Africa.
