Alex is an experienced finance professional specialized in accounting, budgeting, financial management, and reporting. At Caribou, she focuses on strengthening financial processes, improving efficiency, and delivering insights to support business decisions.
Alex is a Chartered Certified Accountant and holds a business science degree and a postgraduate diploma in accounting from the University of Cape Town. She completed her articles at Deloitte South Africa before moving to Deloitte in London, gaining experience across auditing and financial management for a variety of industries, including financial services, facilities management, and service solutions. More recently, Alex led the finance function for a business supporting low-income entrepreneurs. Alex is based in South Africa.
