As we celebrate 10 years of Caribou Digital this month, we are delighted to announce that Jessica Osborn has been appointed as the new CEO of the company.
In this position, Jessica will continue to bring the transformational leadership, strategic vision, pragmatism, and integrity that have characterized her work with Caribou Digital over the past eight years.
Jessica is a global leader in digital development, financial inclusion, and innovation for inclusive growth. Over a two-decade career spanning the commercial, consulting, and nonprofit sectors, she has built and led initiatives that promote more inclusive and sustainable digital economies.
Prior to her current role, Jessica established and led flagship initiatives at Caribou, including launching Mastercard Strive, a global program advancing the digitization and financial resilience of small businesses, and directing the Mastercard Foundation Learning Partnership, which helped shape the Foundation’s Young Africa Works strategy. She also founded Live Learning, a service offering immersive executive study trips into emerging digital economies.
Earlier in her career, Jessica held product leadership and operational roles at Google in Europe and Africa, drove commercial and product strategy at Millicom in Ghana, and managed large-scale development programs for Grameen Foundation. Jessica holds a First-Class Honours degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Durham.
I’m honored to lead Caribou into its next chapter and deepen our work supporting clients to create inclusive and sustainable economies in an increasingly digital world. I’m thrilled to do this alongside such an incredibly talented team and excited to see what our second decade brings!
As we make this transition, Chris Locke will be stepping into a new role as Chair of the company.
Please join us in celebrating this exciting moment for Caribou!
