Our recent work has included:
- Collaborating with the Shell Foundation and Value For Women Ltd. on building an evidence-based view of how clean energy interventions advance women’s economic empowerment, from designing a Theory of Change and metrics on empowerment outcomes to developing an economic impact model to guide investment strategies.
- Supporting the Gates Foundation’s Women’s Economic Empowerment portfolio, through synthesizing evidence on how digital tools such as smartphones and access to digital markets shape women’s agency and income.
These projects play a key role in generating evidence for the 2X Challenge Criteria – the global benchmark for gender-lens investing – while equipping our ambitious partners with the strategies, insights, and tools to mobilize and shape technology to achieve and elevate their impact goals.
